During the school year, I may choose to use one or more of the following full-length movies in science class. The purpose of using such videos within science curriculum is to inspire students to develop practical engineering and problem-solving skills that can be used in a variety of settings and careers throughout our lives. Such knowledge, skills and attitudes are part of STEM ecuation (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Without parent/guardian permission, your student will not be allowed to participate if one of these movies is shown as a planned educational activity. An alternative assignment will be provided at an alternate location, which must be completed to earn replacement credit for the missed activity.
